Remote and Semi-Remote Conditions
Many Oz Eco Tours experiences take place in remote or semi-remote environments. Conditions may include heat, cold, uneven ground, river or waterhole access, 4WD travel, wildlife, limited phone reception, limited medical access, and changing weather.
Some experiences involve walking, standing, vehicle travel, outdoor meals, camping or glamping facilities, and time away from immediate shops, clinics, or other urban services.
Traveller Information
You must provide accurate medical, dietary, mobility, emergency contact, and traveller information before travel. This helps us plan safely and decide whether extra preparation, itinerary adjustment, or a direct conversation is needed.
If anything changes after booking, including health, mobility, medication, dietary, emergency contact, or participation concerns, contact Oz Eco Tours before departure.
Guide Directions
You must follow reasonable safety directions from Oz Eco Tours guides, staff, authorised partners, land managers, and Traditional Owners where relevant.
We may refuse participation or adjust activities where we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, cultural respect, environmental protection, or the wellbeing of the group.
Suitability and Insurance
Travellers are responsible for choosing an experience suited to their fitness, health, comfort level, and travel expectations. If you are unsure whether a trip is suitable, contact us before booking.
We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance for cancellations, medical events, personal items, delays, and other travel risks.
